Talga Group Ltd. provided an update on the progress of its Electric Vehicle Anode qualification plant under construction in Sweden. The wholly owned EVA plant is being constructed within the metals research institute Swerim in Lule?, Sweden and will produce Talga's Li-ion battery anode material, Talnode-C, for large scale customer qualification trials. The EVA is understood to be the first Li-ion battery anode production plant in Europe. On-site construction activities are now well underway with structural and electrical works largely completed, and mechanical construction progressing well. The EVA integrated laboratory and production quality control modules are being assembled and installation of major anode shaping and coating equipment has commenced following milestone installation of the coating pyrolysis kiln. International shipping delays have affected some equipment delivery dates, however the Company does not expect this to impact its commissioning and production timeline. Installation of the various mechanical, chemical and electrical work packages is on track to be ready for cold commissioning to commence next month with full commissioning of the EVA in First Quarter 2022 as planned.
