Taseko Mines Limited reported production results for First Quarter ended March 31, 2025. For the quarter, the company reported Gibraltar produced 20.0 million pounds of copper at a total operating cost (C1) of USD 2.26 per pound of copper produced compared to 29.7 million pounds of copper a year ago. Copper head grade was 0.19% and recovery was 68% for the quarter reflecting the milling of lower grade stockpiled material which contained more oxidized material; Gibraltar sold 21.8 million pounds of copper and 364,000 pounds of molybdenum.
Gibraltar tons mined were 23.2 million tons as compared to 22.8 million tons a year ago. Ton milled were 7.9 million tons as compared to 7.7 million tons a year ago. Molybdenum production was 336,000 pounds in the first quarter compared to 247,000 pounds in the comparative prior year quarter.
