Tata Chemicals Limited announced audited consolidated earnings results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2020. For the quarter, the company announced total income of INR 24,536.4 million compared to INR 26,464.7 million a year ago. Profit for the period was INR 64,342.8 million compared to INR 4,501.0 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 7.25 compared to INR 13.43 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was INR 252.06 compared to INR 16.05 a year ago.
For the year, total income of INR 106,678.7 million compared to INR 107,461.8 million a year ago. Profit for the period was INR 72,281.5 million compared to INR 13,868.5 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 31.66 compared to INR 36.59 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was INR 275.02 compared to INR 45.38 a year ago.
