PJSC Tatneft : TATNEFT Will Build a New Factory in Bavly

The Company will increase the production of fiberglass pipes. The new factory will be built in Bavly.

The presentation of a new Tatneft-Presscomposite's project took place during a working trip to Bavly by Alexei Pesoshin, Prime Minister of Tatarstan.

The TATNEFT Group carries out a conscious, environmentally responsible business based on the sustainable development goals of the UN Global Compact. This work is carried out on the basis of innovations all across the entire chain of business processes in crude oil production, oil refining, petrochemicals production, power industry, with the possibility of expanding the line of products with a low carbon footprint.

The use of fiberglass pipes compared to metal pipes allows reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 4.5 - 6 times. In this regard, the Company plans a large-scale transition to the construction of fiberglass pipelines.

TATNEFT will launch three new production lines, two of which will be built on the territory of the new factory in Bavly. Currently, Tatneft-Presscomposite is operates a line with a capacity of 450 km of fiberglass pipes per year in the Yelabuga region.

The new production facility in Bavly will occupy the area 6,500 square meters. The design capacity of the enterprise is 900 km of pipes per year. The total production capacity after the introduction of new lines will be 1800 km of fiberglass products.

The launch of the factory in Bavly is scheduled for the end of November 2022. The new project will create 212 new jobs. The recruitment of engineering and technical personnel with further training will begin in March of the current year.

Currently, design and survey work and preparation of the territory for the new construction are underway.
