The award of the All-Russian 'MediaTEK-2020' contest has been presented to 'Neftyanye Vesti' newspaper.

The All-Russian 'MediaTEK' contest has been held by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation since 2015, federal and regional mass media, journalists, public relations departments of the fuel and energy complex and regional administrations participate in it. The Expert Council of the contest is headed by Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of Russia, and it also includes heads of the largest business media, journalism departments of Russian universities, representatives of governmental authorized bodies.

TATNEFT has been participating in MediaTEK since the very first competition in 2015 and has been repeatedly collected various awards, including the prize for the best press service of the fuel and energy complex.

In 2020, the Expert Council of the MediaTEK highlighted the corporate newspaper of the Company: 'Neftyanye Vesti' ranked No.2 in the nomination 'Best corporate media among interregional fuel and energy companies'.

In total, there were 586 applications from 61 regions of Russia submitted for the federal round of the contest in 2020. When evaluating the nominees for the contest, the experts paid special attention to highlighting the activities of fuel and energy enterprises in the context of COVID-19, the implementation of projects to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 100th anniversary of the adoption of the GOELRO plan.

The award was presented to Aigul Alparova, Head of TATNEFT's Press Service, at the ceremony in Moscow on December 23 by Dmitry Peskov, Press Secretary of the Russian Federation President and Deputy Alexander Novak, Prime Minister of Russia.
