SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) _ Taylor Morrison Home Corp. (TMHC) on Thursday reported second-quarter earnings of $124.1 million.

The Scottsdale, Arizona-based company said it had profit of 95 cents per share.

The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.01 per share.

The home builder posted revenue of $1.72 billion in the period, also missing Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $1.75 billion.

Taylor Morrison shares have fallen almost 2% since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased roughly 7% in the last 12 months.
