As part of our ongoing commitment to working in partnership with local communities, our West Scotland Business Unit has donated £500 to Linwood in Bloom, just one of the many community projects delivered and supported by the Linwood Community Development Trust.

The Linwood in Bloom project aims to make Linwood a more attractive place by providing community flowerbeds, troughs and planters throughout the village for the enjoyment of the local community. An army of volunteers look after their planting and maintenance to ensure a vibrant display of colour each year.

Commenting on the support it has received from Taylor Wimpey, Jeanette Anderson, Chair of Linwood Community Development Trust said: 'We are extremely grateful for the support that we have received from Taylor Wimpey and we can't thank them enough for their generous donation. Each year we work hard to create lovely floral displays for the enjoyment of the whole community and this donation makes a helpful contribution towards next year's displays, which we are already planning.'

Being able to work with local groups and charities is important to us - even more so in these challenging times - as Audrey Ross, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey West Scotland adds: 'We are delighted to be able to support Linwood in Bloom. The work we do is a lot more than just building high-quality homes. Being able to work with local businesses and organisations that surround our developments means a great deal to us and it's great to know that we are helping to make a difference to the lives of people in local communities.
