Taylor Wimpey : We are proud to support food bank in Ashford

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting local communities, our South East team has made a donation to the Family Food Bank, which is part of FareShare Kent, who provide meals and surplus food to vulnerable children and families.

The Family Food Bank, which is located in Ashford, not only helps families in need but also community groups, activity schemes and schools by delivering healthy and nutritious food.

Kareen McDonald, Business Development Executive at the Family Food Bank and FareShare Kent, said: 'We're so grateful to Taylor Wimpey for this kind and generous donation. Our food bank relies on the support of the public to continue to help those in need. The recent pandemic has meant that more vulnerable people have been pushed into hardship and need our help more than ever. We're thrilled to have received this donation and it will go a long way in helping those in need.'

Jason Stokes, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey South East, said: 'We're really proud to be able to make a £200 donation to FareShare Kent. The work that food banks do both within towns and across the country is invaluable to those in need and we're more than happy to show our support for such an important cause.'
