Item 8.01 Other Events.

On April 24, 2020, the Board of Directors of Tectonic Financial, Inc. (the "Company") declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.225 per share on the Company's outstanding shares of 9.00% Fixed-to-Floating Rate Series B Noncumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock. The dividend is payable on May 15, 2020 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on May 5, 2020.
