Technip Energies said Wednesday that it has won a contract from Indian Oil Corp. for upgrading a refinery in Barauni, in Eastern India.

Under the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning contract, Technip Energies will install a once-through hydrocracker unit, known as OHCU, of one million metric tons per annum capacity and a fuel-gas treatment unit, the engineering-and-technology company said.

Though the company didn't disclose the exact value of the deal, it said that it is a "significant" contract which means it is worth between 50 million euros and 250 million euros ($59.4 million - $296.8 million), according to Technip Energies.
