The Board of Directors reviewed the main economic and financial operating data as at 31 March 2022

• Consolidated Revenues of EUR 121,4 million, up 59,1% compared to Q1 2021;
• Consolidated EBITDA of EUR 52,9 million (43,6% of revenues);
• Consolidated Net Financial Position of EUR 276,3 million, compared to EUR 135,5 million at the end of 2021;
• The trend of the Q1 2022 and current order backlog confirm Technoprobe's growth trajectory.

Cernusco Lombardone (LC), 23 May 2022 - The Board of Directors of Technoprobe S.p.A., a company listed on Euronext Growth Milan and a leader in the design and production of Probe Cards (the "Company" or "Technoprobe"), met today and reviewed certain unaudited consolidated economic and financial operating data as at 31 March 2022.

Analysis of economic results for the first quarter of 2022

• Consolidated revenues for the first quarter of 2022 amounted to EUR 121,4 million, an increase of 59,1% compared to the first quarter of 2021;
• These revenues are broken down as follows: EUR 86,2 million in Asia (up 139% from Q1 2021), EUR 26,6 million in North America (down 3% from Q1 2021), EUR 2,7 million in Italy (down 3% from Q1 2021), EUR 5,6 million in the rest of Europe (down 35% from Q1 2021);
• Consolidated EBITDA, adjusted for the non-recurring effect of IPO costs incurred in the first quarter of 2022, amounted to EUR 52,9 million, (43,6% on revenue) and compares to an EBITDA at the end of December 2021 of EUR 174,7 million (44,6% in absolute terms);
• Consolidated Net Financial Position amounted to EUR 276,3 million, compared to EUR 135,5 million at the end of 2021, also as a result of the IPO proceeds

Stefano Felici, CEO of Technoprobe, said: "We are very pleased with the start of this first quarter of the year 2022, we recorded our all-time record turnover and the quarter was characterised by the change of pace culminating in the IPO on the Euronext Growth Milan market. We are working hard to improve processes, efficiencies, and continue to grow.

The order backlog recorded during the first quarter of 2022 confirms the revenue growth that will be visible during the 2022 financial year, with deliveries expected in the second and third quarter of the year.

At the same meeting, the Board of Directors set up an internal Control and Risk Committee and a Related Party Transactions Committee, both composed of directors Anna Chiara Svelto (Chairman) and Giulio Sirtori.

During the first quarter of 2022, important awards were obtained that once again demonstrate the high quality and technological standard. Technoprobe received the INTEL EPIC Award, reserved globally for 26 suppliers in total, as well as the Test Connectivity Supplier (formerly VLSI) Techinsight's award as the first global ProbeCard manufacturer for the fifth consecutive year.

Furthermore, the installation of equipment and the preparation of clean rooms in the Cernusco Lombardone plant previously dedicated to the vaccine hub were completed and activities started at the Osnago and Agrate Brianza plants.

Description of Technoprobe

Technoprobe was established in 1996 from an entrepreneurial idea of its founder Giuseppe Crippa and is at the head of a Group that design and manufacture electro-mechanical interfaces called Probe Cards used for testing non-memory or SOC semiconductors. Based on currently available data, the Group is the second largest manufacturer of Probe Cards in the world in terms of both volume of units sold and revenue and the only manufacturer of Probe Cards in Italy.

Technoprobe is active in the design and manufacture of Probe Cards.

Probe Cards are high-tech devices (tailor-made according to the specific chip) that allow to test the operation of chips during their construction process, i.e. when they are still on the silicon wafer. They are, therefore, technological designs and solutions that ensure the operation and reliability of devices that play a crucial role in the computer, smartphone, 5G, Internet of Things, home automation and automotive industries, among others. Probe Cards are "consumables" as their life cycle is linked to a specific chip and no part of the Probe Card can be reused.

In Italy the Group has its registered office in Cernusco Lombardone (LC), near Milan, where there is also a production center that occupies a covered area of about 18,000 square meters. In addition, the Group has two other production facilities in Italy: a first one of approximately 3,000 sqm in Agrate (MB) and a second one of approximately 5,000 sqm in Osnago (LC), which will become operational in the first quarter of 2022. In addition, the Group has other 11 locations worldwide, spread across Europe, Asia (Taiwan, South Korea, China and Singapore) and the United States. The world's leading semiconductor manufacturers are customers of the Group.

The Group currently employs approximately 2,200 employees at a consolidated level (of which 1,300 in Italy) and generated revenues in the year ended December 31, 2021 amounting to Euro 391,7 million. The Group has over 500 proprietary patents.
