Techstep, through its subsidiary Optidev AB, has signed an agreement with the Swedish public transport company AB Storstockholms Lokaltrafik (SL) to deliver a complete MMS-solution.

The agreement includes all three components of Techstep's service stack: Advisory Services, Platform Management and Asset Management. The MMS solution will use software developed by Optidev to deliver an integrated public transport ticketing system, with operational support services for the complete software and hardware solution. Techstep's MMS offering will improve mobile workflows and increase operational efficiency, while at the same time reduce IT complexity for SL.

"Techstep is proud to help improve the public transport system by delivering a next generation public transport ticketing solution for SL's affiliated sales agents. SL is constantly working to create a cost-effective public transport system, with higher quality and better capacity to increase the number of people choosing SL instead of their own cars." says Techstep CEO, Jens Haviken

Techstep estimates the total contract value to NOK 14 million over a four-year period, with an optional extension of additional four years. The contract reflects Techstep's long term strategy to on-board new customers to its complete MMS offering.
