Stockholm - Tele2 AB ("Tele2") (Nasdaq Stockholm: TEL2 A and TEL2 B) has been ranked the number one company in Sweden and number thirty-two globally for gender equality by Equileap,  the leading organization providing data and insights on gender equality in the corporate sector.

Tele2's ranking came in Equileap's 2023 Gender Equality Global Report & Ranking which was released today. In the report, Tele2 jumped 41 places from 2022 in the global gender equality ranking of more than 3,700 companies, putting it in the top 1% of companies worldwide. In Sweden, Tele2 improved its ranking from number three in the 2022 report to number one in the 2023 report.

 
Achieving gender balance on the executive team and providing flexible work locations were identified by Equileap as areas where Tele2 has improved since last year's report. Overall Tele2 achieved a gender equality score of 70%, an increase from 64% compared to last year.
