U.S. index futures move slightly higher, while in Europe the impact of the Zew index on German consumer confidence, which fell much more than expected, weighs. Meanwhile, the geopolitical landscape remains tense, on the Ukrainian front as well as in the Middle East, further fueling investor caution.
Around 11:30 a.m., the Ftse Mib index rose 0.1 percent. Summer volumes of about 490 million euros.

Cues on Prysmian (+0.9%), which won a lawsuit for trade secret infringement and obtained a $96.5 million settlement from a South Carolina court. "This is positive news," comments Banca Akros, which reiterates its 'accumulate' rating on the stock with a target price of 69 euros.
Lottomatica resets the jump of more than 2 percent recorded at the opening after Berenberg initiated coverage with 'buy'.
