Fueled by our constant passion to make the world a better place, Teleperformance is inspired to be the best caretakers of the planet. We believe that one small step can go a long way in making a positive impact on the world we live in - and together with our employees, we are steadfast in reinforcing our commitment to create a better world for all.

Teleperformance's Citizen of the Planet (COTP) is our social responsibility initiative that ensures that we operate in an environmentally friendly and responsible manner. Through the years, our COTP activities have focused on minimizing our environmental impact, taking better care of the environment, advocating for climate change action, raising environmental awareness, and practicing sustainability in our lives.

It only takes one voice to create a positive change. Powered by our employees who share the same vision of a healthier planet, we are grateful to have our COTP activities strengthened by our 420,0000-strong workforce who have generously volunteered and contributed their time and efforts to take better care of our planet.

Here are a few COTP initiatives from around the world:

USA

In the United States, the TP Women Board partnered with the Employee Engagement Team with a mission to give back to our local communities through planting trees, flowers, succulents, and vegetables.

$7,344 in-kind items (plants, flowers, and sustainable resources) were donated to various local businesses, children's organizations, and local parks. 101 working volunteer and 4 non-working volunteer hours were devoted during this initiative last August and September.

Italy

In June, our teams in Italy launched a project that boosted sustainable tourism and spread awareness on marine and environmental protection to finance the research of Jonian Dolphin Conservation's biologists. The project, spearheaded by Teleperformance teams in Taranto, gave 300 people the chance to see dolphins up close. These excursions were used to fund research and support environmental protection initiatives for the Jonian Dolphin Conservation. Volunteers also collected plastic and waste that can harm cetaceans during trips.

Portugal

Our team in Portugal took care of the city by organizing an Urban Beach Cleaning Day with the League for the Protection of Nature, collecting and disposing of 60 kgs of trash.

Indonesia

Teleperformance collaborated with the Sumba Foundation to provide clean water network facilities in Prai Nyou village, Mamodu Village, Wanukaka District, West Sumba Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. With full support from the West Sumba Government, the "Clean Water Network Project" is planned to be implemented in two main villages, namely Prai Nyou village and settlements around Mamodu Village.

Residents from Puu Kabbo Village, Rajaka Village, Lamboya District, West Sumba also took clean water at the Prai Nyou Well during the dry season. It is estimated that more than 332 people have benefited from this clean water development program.

COTP is committed to save the earth, one tree at a time. This year, we have already planted 1,000 trees in Colombia, with 2,000 more to be planted by the end of the year in Greece. Our volunteers in Colombia planted 1,000 trees in a vulnerable area, Suesca-Cundinamarca, affected by deforestation. The tree-planting activity was made possible through our partnership with Al Verde Vivo Foundation.
