Global leader and world triathlon vice-champion exemplify brilliance in pursuit of becoming a champion

Paris, September 22, 2021 - Teleperformance, a leading global group in digitally integrated business services, launchedits "Inspired to be the Best" campaign earlier this year as part of a larger program designed to promote a culture of diversity and inclusion. The campaign highlights unique individuals who demonstrate passion, dedication, and persistence to achieve their goals. For Vasco Vilaça, a Portuguese triathlete and multi-medal winner, greatness started at the age of six and his passion to "be the best," and inspire others to do the same has shaped his life, as he became one of the best athletes in the world.

Vilaça committed to be a triathlete just after his sixth birthday. Not soon after, he and his family moved from Portugal to Sweden to train and continue his education. By 2016, he was the youth European champion; by 2017, he was Junior World Vice-Champion. Last year, he secured a silver medal in the World Triathlon Series.

"Becoming a champion takes years of dedication, hard work and persistence, three qualities that we strongly believe in at Teleperformance," said Teleperformance Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Julien.
