In what direction is the digital society moving? What innovations will users need tomorrow? How to withstand a whirlwind of cyberattacks? These topics are the focus of the conference 'Telia Business Summit @ LOGIN' for business leaders at this year's festival of technologies and innovation LOGIN.

'The name of Lithuania is frequently heard throughout the world: innovations created by Lithuanian businessmen and scientists win awards, technology startups attract the capital of international investors, and digital services and solutions successfully compete on export markets. We are a part of the global market that is moving towards gigabit society. A society where everyone will have access to 1 Gbps Internet at all times. Therefore, the digital divide will be diminished, public services will become more accessible, and the competitiveness of our country will increase,' says Kęstutis Šliužas, CEO of Telia Company.

According to him, the near future holds many opportunities as well as challenges. 'The cyberattacks over the past several weeks show that hackers improve fast and in a targeted manner, that the scope of cyberattacks and their impact on business, the state, and the public is transforming. Therefore, now we must devote special attention and allocate investments to data security,' says K. Šliužas.

'Telia' sent an invitation to Ofir Hason, Cyber Security Expert, Co-Founder and CEO of the world-leading cyber security company 'CyberGym', to the event 'Telia Business Summit @ LOGIN'. According to him, today we still open many doors to hackers ourselves: the human factor is the weak link in security in many companies worldwide. The latest statistics indicate that ransomware attacks as well as cases when companies of a particular sector or even specific companies are targeted are becoming more frequent. In addition, phishing becomes a tool of manipulation that hurts business reputation. For these reasons, the CEO of 'CyberGym' advises businessmen not to wait for attacks such as WannaCry and to implement complex preventive measures, from education to technological solutions, now.

'Telia Business Summit @ LOGIN' will also be attended by David Mattin, Head of Trends and Insights at TrendWatching.com. He notes that social and cultural change is a mirror reflecting the direction and transformation of technology business and other business areas. According to the expert, innovation is meaningless if consumers do not need it and it is not used. Therefore, an important question that the companies must keep in mind every day is rather simple: what will the consumer want tomorrow?

Other participants of the conference for business leaders that came to share their experience and insights regarding business transformation and leadership in the era of technology are Nick Dawson, Global Director of Enterprise Business Strategy and Development at Samsung Electronics, Nikolay Storonsky, Founder and CEO at Revolut, Shama Hyder, Marketing Specialist, Founder and CEO of the Marketing Zen Group, and Marius Jurgilas, Board Member of the Bank of Lithuania.
