Education is the focus of Tenaris's community programs around the world. This month, a total of 284 students from Cilegon and Batam in Indonesia received the Roberto Rocca Education Program scholarships from Tenaris to recognize their outstanding academic achievements.

According to Mayor of Cilegon Helldy Agustian, presenter of the award ceremony, 'The educational grant from Tenaris has helped empower the community and facilitate improvements in education, which will ultimately cut down the unemployment rate.'

Since 2014, Roberto Rocca scholarships have supported 1,800 students across Indonesia, from 75 schools in Batam and Cilegon, with a total donation of of 8 billion rupia (514,000 USD).
