Tenaris S A : Petrobras recognizes Tenaris with supplier award

Petrobras has recognized Tenaris among its best suppliers under the 'steel pipes, connection, installation and maintenance' category for its collaboration in 2019.

The award, announced in December 2020, distinguishes companies that have had a relevant participation in delivering products and services for Petrobras. 'Each year, we recognize the commitment of partnering companies to the pursuit of excellence and in alignment with the values of our company,' said Rodrigo Ugarte, Supply Chain Executive Manager at Petrobras in a press release [in Portuguese] from the company.

'In addition to the long-term agreements executed throughout 2019, all the contracts performed with Petrobras completed during 2019 were crucial for winning this award, since on-time delivery is one of the main points considered,' said Renato Catallini, Tenaris President in Brazil.

During 2019, Tenaris delivered conductor casing pipes with BlueDock® connectors for pre-salt projects, along with Rig Direct® services, including demand planning, rig returns and field services for offshore applications, and casings for onshore wells.

'It is an honor to be recognized as a partner that generates real value for Petrobras. I want to congratulate our entire team for such an important achievement,' added Catallini.

This is the second consecutive year that Tenaris has received the supplier recognition from Petrobras, which launched the awards program in 2018.
