Tenet Healthcare : Supports North Texas Community During National Volunteer Month

Volunteer efforts focused on combatting challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic

DALLAS - May 5, 2021 - Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC) today announced the results of its annual participation in National Volunteer Month. Through an effort that engaged employees throughout North Texas, the company focused on initiatives to combat challenges heightened by the COVID-19 pandemic.

'We are proud to support our neighbors in North Texas, and we are especially grateful for our employees who live out our mission of providing quality, compassionate care in the communities we serve.'

During the month of April, employees at Tenet, USPI and Conifer Health Solutions partnered with the North Texas Food Bank, Carter BloodCare and the Visiting Nurses Association to help those in need in North Texas. Activities included:

• Visiting Nurses Association Meals on Wheels - Tenet employees and their families hand-decorated and donated 387 'Senior Swag Bags' filled with activities and uplifting notes for seniors to enjoy, helping offset social isolation.
• Carter Blood Care - in a two-day mobile drive, 132 Tenet employees donated blood. Each unit of blood can save up to three lives.
• North Texas Food Bank - through a virtual food drive, employees donated essential items and over $11,700 including a corporate match. The donation will provide more than 35,000 meals for North Texas families.
• Cards for Hope - employees decorated over 100 cards with inspirational messages that will be included in NTFB boxes and distributed to local families.
