One of the primary objectives at Tesmec is to constantly improve safeguard of every staff member and of the environment. To this extent, Tesmec is committed to put into practice this concept in the most mindful and concrete way.

Andrea Piovani, QHSE Manager of Tesmec Group, explains how Safety Talks contribute to safety and health culture enhancing into the company.

'We started Safety Talks back in 2019. These meetings were thought to be an opportunity for on-field exchange about safety and health topics.

Every month we organise a meeting with the management and one with the staff, to present news, measures, laws and to gather impressions, pieces of advice and plan actions to every levels.

Moreover, we analyse and present case-studies accidents, to deliver practical examples.

The QHSE Staff has planned these meetings to be two-way: as I said before we share training, information and advice and collect impressions, testimonial and requests; then, we update, all together, the findings detected in the previous months.

The most enriching aspect of Safety Talks is that during these meetings we switch our production and management processes into QHSE culture creation. In this way, Tesmec solutions and systems originate in an environment which is every day safer and healthier'
