Tesson Holdings Limited provided unaudited earnings guidance for the six months ended 30 June 2021. The company Group, is expected that the Group will record a net loss of approximately HKD 250 million to HKD 270 million for the six months ended 30 June 2021, compared to a net profit of approximately HKD 49 million for the corresponding period in 2020. The Board believes that the expected net loss for the six months ended 30 June 2021 is primarily attributable to (i) a substantially decline in revenue recognized from the Group's properties segment due to delay in delivery of residential units in the property project in Nanchang; (ii) write-off and impairment of property, plant and equipment, as well as inventory, as a result of a fire accident in the Group's production base in Weinan occurred in late June 2021 where there was no casualties in this accident; and (iii) impairment of trade and other receivables of the Group's Lithium Ion Motive Battery Business.
