Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) recently organized a conference under the theme "Get Ready for a Brand New Sky" attended by over 170 Thai travel agency companies. The event was presided over by Mr. Chansin Treenuchagron, THAI Plan Administrator together with Mr. Suvadhana Sibunruang, THAI Acting Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Nond Kalinta, THAI Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Cherdphan Chotikhun, THAI Chief Technical Officer, Flg. Off. Chingcheep Burirak, THAI Flight Operations Director and the management.

Mr. Nond Kalinta said despite the challenging business environment, THAI has strived to move forward through implementation of new marketing strategies as follows:

• Feasible Products & Improved Services: THAI focuses on suitable utilization of aircraft and revenue-generating destinations that will enable THAI to increase sales and profit. THAI is working in close cooperation with partner airlines and Thai Smile Airways to effectively enhance route network for both international and domestic destinations to maximize passengers' flying convenience. A wide range of customer services have been developed to ensure greater customer satisfaction.

• Pricing and Distribution Channels: Sales distribution will be further enhanced through collaboration with travel agencies and via online channels. The prices are competitive and globally standardized.

• Marketing Communication is target oriented and conveyed through impactful digital channels.

A variety of new services has also been introduced with customer centric approach such as privileges for ROP members, miles collection and redemption channels, pre-selected meals service for Royal Silk Class passengers, improved inflight food and beverages for economy class, inflight full services and 24-hour call center service. Future services will also be more digitalized.

In support of the Government's Country Reopening policy, in Q1/2022, THAI plans its flights services to 19 destinations in Asia, nine destinations in Europe, one destination in Australia and 14 domestic destinations operated by Thai Smile Airways that has also planned to operate flights to international destinations such as Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Vientiane, Yangon, Siem Reap and Phnom Penh etc.

As for the readiness of aircraft, THAI Technical Department has carried out maintenance, repair and overhaul of every commercial aircraft in THAI's fleet based on requirements of aircraft manufacturer companies. THAI Technical Department has been assessed and certified by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), US Federation Aviation Administration (FAA) and Australian Civil Aviation Authority Safety.

Safety and hygiene excellence have always been top priorities at THAI's Operations Department. THAI's safety and hygiene standards have been certified by the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). All THAI pilots and cabin crew are fully vaccinated and receive regular safety trainings and practice.

THAI, as the national flag carrier, is more ready now than ever before to serve our customers especially in the current business environment with more robust and vibrant services which will in turn help drive Thailand's economy and tourism industry forward into the future.
