1836 EDT [Dow Jones]--Aleph Farms will work with Thai Union and CJ CheilJedang to expand in Asia as the lab-grown meat sector continues to attract investments. Aleph said "both Thai Union and CJ share our resolutions for achieving carbon-neutrality and enhancing food security for all people of Asia and around the world." Aleph said in July that it completed a $105M Series B funding round, while last week Aleph and Mosa Meat reported investments from Leonardo DiCaprio. In February, Aleph and its research partner at the Technion in Israel revealed "the world's first slaughter-free ribeye steak." On Monday, New Age Meats said it raised $25M led by Hanwha Solutions, helping it proceed toward launching "a variety of sausage products." (josh.beckerman@wsj.com)
