Thantawan Industry Public Co.,Ltd. Approves Dividend, Payable on May 23, 2014; Announces Board Changes, Effective from April 28, 2014

Thantawan Industry Public Co.,Ltd. announced that the meeting of Board of Directors of the company was held on March 3, 2014, has approved dividend payment of THB 4.50 per share for the year ended December 31, 2013. The dividend payment should be approved by shareholders. The dividend payment shall be paid on May 23, 2014. Record date for the right to receive dividends will be on May 7, 2014 and ex-dividend date will be on May 02, 2014.
The board of the company has appointed Mr. Praisun Wongsmith as Director, replacement of Mr. Banleng Sornil who retired by rotation as Independent Director. Mr. Manop Naktad has been appointed as Director, replacement of Pol. Col. Taweepun Sangprasert who will resign from the Independent Director effective from April 28, 2014. The board of the company has also appointed Mr. Praisun Wongsmith as ‘Audit Committee' for three years term, replacement of Mr. Banleng Sornil who retired by rotation. Mr. Manop Naktad has been appointed as ‘Audit Committee' for one year remaining term, replacement of Pol. Col. Taweepun Sangprasert who will resign from the Audit Committee effective from April 28, 2014.
Thantawan Industry Public Company Limited is a Thailand-based company, which is principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of plastic products, such as drinking straws and general plastic bags. The Company has three main production lines: low-density polyethylene (LDPE), high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene (PP). LDPE products include zip bags (auto-opened-closed), modified atmosphere packaging products for vegetables and fruit, and some types of garbage bags. HDPE products include garbage bags and food bags. PP products include beverage straws, spoon tubes and other similar products. The Companyâs brands include SUN PRODUCTS, Kitchen Neat, Fresh & Fresh, and Zip Solution. Kitchen Neat provides full range of household retail packs, such as re-closable bags, drinking straws, glove, garbage bags and breast milk storage zip-bags. Fresh & Fresh is active packaging or a type of modified atmosphere packaging (MAP).
