Thantawan Industry Public Company Limited announced company earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2015. For the quarter, net profit was THB 58,925,000 against THB 32,802,000 a year ago. EPS was THB 7.37 against THB 4.10 a year ago. Total sales revenue was THB 607.36 million increased by THB 47.94 million or 8.57% from the same quarter last year. Return on shareholders' equity was 5.62% against 3.74% a year ago. Return on total assets was 4.38% against 2.77% a year ago. Book value per share was THB 130.97 against THB 109.59 a year ago.
For the nine months, net profit was THB 179,763,000 against THB 84,469,000 a year ago. EPS was THB 22.47 against THB 10.56 a year ago. Return on shareholders' equity was 17.16% against 9.63% a year ago. Return on total assets was 13.36% against 7.14% a year ago. Book value per share was THB 130.97 against THB 109.59 a year ago. Cash flow received from net operation was THB 146.74 million. Acquisition of fixed assets and intangible assets was THB 60.26 million.
Thantawan Industry Public Company Limited is a Thailand-based company, which is principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of plastic products, such as drinking straws and general plastic bags. The Company has three main production lines: low-density polyethylene (LDPE), high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene (PP). LDPE products include zip bags (auto-opened-closed), modified atmosphere packaging products for vegetables and fruit, and some types of garbage bags. HDPE products include garbage bags and food bags. PP products include beverage straws, spoon tubes and other similar products. The Companyâs brands include SUN PRODUCTS, Kitchen Neat, Fresh & Fresh, and Zip Solution. Kitchen Neat provides full range of household retail packs, such as re-closable bags, drinking straws, glove, garbage bags and breast milk storage zip-bags. Fresh & Fresh is active packaging or a type of modified atmosphere packaging (MAP).
