The Allstate Corporation announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was USD 12,646 million compared to USD 10,403 million a year ago. Net income was USD 1,625 million compared to USD 1,250 million a year ago.

Basic earnings per share was USD 5.34 compared to USD 3.9 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was USD 5.26 compared to USD 3.86 a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 4.68 compared to USD 3.44 a year ago.

Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 4.61 compared to USD 3.41 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was USD 25,097 million compared to USD 20,269 million a year ago. Net income was USD 244 million compared to USD 1,799 million a year ago.

Basic earnings per share was USD 0.62 compared to USD 5.5 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was USD 0.61 compared to USD 5.43 a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 12.59 compared to USD 5.96 a year ago.

Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 12.41 compared to USD 5.88 a year ago.
