The Andersons, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 2,998.82 million compared to USD 1,885.59 million a year ago. Net income was USD 15.74 million compared to net loss of USD 1.06 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.42 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.04 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.41 compared to diluted loss per share from continuing operations of USD 0.04 a year ago. The Nutrient & Industrial segment is a manufacturer, distributor and retailer of agricultural and related plant nutrients, liquid industrial products, corncob-based products, pelleted lime and gypsum products, pesticide, and others.
