Ural Airlines - Vladimir Yakushev noted that regional air carriers are of great importance for the effective functioning of many sectors of the economy of the region, the district and the country. Ural Airlines is an important market player and is one of the key segments in the development of transport communications.

The Plenipotentiary Envoy inspected the aviation technical center of Ural Airlines, which includes a hangar for maintenance and repair of aircraft. The complex was put into operation in 2015, it allows you to freely accommodate up to four Airbus A321 aircraft, or three Airbus A321 aircraft and one giant of the Boeing B747-800 type.

Vladimir Yakushev praised the material and technical condition of the center and the level of training of its employees: 'It is very important how technically armed the airline is, and how it monitors its fleet. Here it is done at a fairly high level, a very serious, qualified team has been selected. '

The Plenipotentiary Envoy also inspected the airline's training complex and the simulator itself, on which he made a test flight. The simulator is a fully enclosed cabin of the Airbus A320 aircraft, mounted on six electro-pneumatic supports. During the training flight, they move the cockpit, simulating the behavior of the aircraft. Computer images of the external environment (sky, thunderstorms, clouds, etc.), as well as the infrastructure of airports, are displayed on the screen of the visual system.

Such a simulator allows young personnel to develop the necessary competencies, and more experienced specialists to maintain professional form and hone their skills.

'Training of personnel who operate aircraft is the key to the success of the airline. The quality of flights and, most importantly, human lives depend on it. On the simulator there is an opportunity to create and work out non-standard situations: to see how the commander of the ship and the crew will act in difficult cases. Of course, I would like there to be no such cases in real life, but pilots should be prepared for any development of events,' said Vladimir Yakushev.

General Director of Ural Airlines Sergey Skuratov announced to the Plenipotentiary Envoy the plans for the development of the airline for 2022.

'We are updating the fleet, there are big plans for the organization of cargo transportation. Most likely, we will expand the maintenance center - it will be supplemented by another hangar complex, we plan to use it for Boeing-type aircraft. Under them, we will also add a new simulator for pilots,' said Sergey Skuratov.
