The Boston Beer Company, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 25, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 599.97 million compared to USD 525.25 million a year ago. Revenue was USD 561.64 million compared to USD 492.79 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 58.42 million compared to net income of USD 80.77 million a year ago. The Company produces alcohol beverages, including hard seltzer, flavored malt beverages, and hard cider at Company-owned breweries and its cidery and under contract arrangements at other brewery locations. The four primary Company-owned breweries are focused on production and research and development. It also owns four smaller local breweries that are mainly focused on brewing and packaging beers for retail sales on site at tap rooms and gift shops, and other. The Company sells its beverages in various packages.
