The Buckle, Inc. reported sales results for the first quarter and four week period ended April 30, 2022. The company announced that comparable store net sales, for stores open at least one year, for the 4-week period ended April 30, 2022 increased 2.8% from comparable store net sales for the 4-week period ended May 1, 2021. Net sales for the 4-week fiscal month ended April 30, 2022 increased 2.9% to $96.3 million from net sales of $93.6 million for the prior year 4-week fiscal month ended May 1, 2021.
Comparable store net sales for the 13-week first quarter ended April 30, 2022 increased 3.7% from comparable store net sales for the 13-week period ended May 1, 2021. Net sales for the 13-week fiscal first quarter ended April 30, 2022 increased 3.3% to $309.1 million compared to net sales of $299.1 million for the prior year 13-week fiscal first quarter ended May 1, 2021.
