OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) _ Clorox Co. (CLX) on Monday reported fiscal third-quarter net income of $150 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Oakland, California-based company said it had profit of $1.21. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were $1.31 per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 97 cents per share.

The consumer products maker posted revenue of $1.81 billion in the period, which matched Street forecasts.

Clorox expects full-year earnings in the range of $4.05 to $4.30 per share.
