Congratulations are in order! We are thrilled to announce that Gap Inc. has achieved a recognition that has been 52 years in the making-the honor of being named as the #1 company on the Refinitiv Diversity and Inclusion index.
Refinitiv assesses thousands of public companies for key factors, including diversity of our teams, inclusion practices and programs, and people development and engagement. To be ranked as a leader in this index comes from the dedication of our employees to create change and our collective efforts to become the most inclusive company in the world. Although we are incredibly proud of accolades like this one, we still have a big hill to climb as we break down systemic barriers for all. Our work is never done.
Every day, we challenge ourselves to understand how we can be more Inclusive, By Design. Moments like this one remind us that each step forward is critical in creating long-lasting systemic changes through our work to achieve our 2025 Commitments that we must remain focused to achieve our goals.
