The Global Smaller Companies Trust PLC announced that Anja Balfour will temporarily step down as Chairman of the Board with effect from 8 November 2023, due to scheduled medical treatment. Anja will remain on the Board of the Company and is expecting to return to her role as Chairman in the New Year. Graham Oldroyd will become interim Chairman of the Board whilst Anja recuperates.
