The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported revenue was USD 1,276.4 million compared to USD 1,249.8 million a year ago. Net income was USD 34 million compared to USD 118.9 million a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.96 compared to USD 3.14 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was USD 0.94 compared to USD 3.13 a year ago.
For the nine months, revenue was USD 3,853.1 million compared to USD 3,530.3 million a year ago. Net income was USD 255.2 million compared to USD 194.1 million a year ago. Personal Lines segment coverages include Personal automobile, and Homeowners and other personal lines. The Other segment primarily includes Opus, which provides investment advisory services to affiliates.
