Hong Kong & China Gas Co.'s first-half net profit fell amid a decline in revenue as the retail, restaurant and hospitality sectors were hit hard by Covid-19.

The gas supplier's net profit fell 31% to 2.67 billion Hong Kong dollars (US$344.5 million), it said Monday.

Revenues fell to HK$18.24 billion from HK$20.35 billion in the same period last year.
