Start of Constant Rated Thermal Power Operation at Takahama Unit No. 3

We hereby announce that Takahama Unit No.3 has started constant rated thermal power operation at 21:20 today.

Taking this opportunity, I would like to express our sincere gratitude to members of the public, in particular local residents in the host communities, for kind understanding and cooperation toward the restart of the plant.

We will make a continuous effort to pursue safe and stable operation of Takahama Unit No.3 while maintaining an atmosphere of tension. At the same time, we are committed to exerting every possible effort to gain more trust and understanding in the importance and safety of nuclear power generation from members of the public while making steady steps forward to achieve and maintain safe plant operation after restarting operation.
