Today, we have explained to the Nuclear Regulation Authority, that our assumptions of the fault upper edge depth would be three kilometers deep, in estimating standard seismic motion. Generally, decreasing depths would result in an increase in seismic motion.
Based on this assumption, reevaluation of standard seismic motion and earthquake resistance would be necessary. Depending on these results, our nuclear power plants may not resume operation for a certain period of time
