TOKYO - Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) announced, that effective May 31, 2022, per a special audit Bureau Veritas Japan Co., Ltd., (currently BVJC) will rescind the suspension of the certification under the ISO 9001international standard for quality management systems at the company's Fukuyama Works (Fukuyama-city, Hiroshima Prefecture). Notification from the BVJC was received today. The BVJC had suspended this certification on December 1, 2021, in connection with improper quality control practices for UL489-listed low-voltage circuit breakers at the Works, as announced on September 1. The ISO 9001 certification (ISO:2015/JIS Q 9001:2015; Certificate / Reference number - JP018884?4418404) is an international standard for quality management systems.
