• Link Together Initiatives applications will be accepted from 1 April until 11 May
  • Pre-application online briefing for NGOs on 15 March was attended by 110 organisations

Link Together Initiatives, Link's flagship charity and community engagement programme, will open the application process starting tomorrow (1 April). The programme aims to support charitable groups and non-government organisations (NGOs), including start-ups, to deliver innovative and impactful projects in the focus areas of youth empowerment, active ageing, and resource management which will contribute to community wellbeing and social inclusion. Interested organisations are welcome to submit their proposals on or before the application deadline on 11 May 2022 (Monday).

A pre-application online briefing was held on 15 March and attended by 110 NGOs. At the briefing, Link explained its engagement model - in addition to project fund, event venue and volunteers, Link is prepared to partner with like-minded NGOs and leverage its extensive network of business partners, tenants, employees and resident shoppers to promote good causes and strengthen community engagement. Link also hopes to promote collaboration between NGO partners so as to generate synergies to maximise the impact of their initiatives and benefit the community.

In 2021/22, Link Together Initiatives are supporting eight projects, including Shanghai Smiles Foundation's Vocational Training Project (Estate Management Class 2021), the programme's first project outside Hong Kong, and the Link University Scholarship, which recognises outstanding youths who are the first among the three generations in their families to attend universities in Hong Kong.

Since the establishment in 2013, Link each year contributes an amount of up to 0.25% of its net property income from the previous financial year to Link Together Initiatives. Over the past eight years, the programme has committed $105 million to support more than 160 community service projects, benefitting more than 12 million people across all 18 districts of Hong Kong.

Organisations interested in applying for the 2022/23 funding cycle can submit their applications online through Link's website. For details about the application process, please visit Link Together Initiatives.
