Dan Welch has been promoted to General Manager of Wild Goose Filling, based in Louisville, Colo. The company, part of the Middleby Beverage Group, designs and manufactures beverage canning and bottling systems with expertise in craft brewing
In his new position Dan will be responsible for the overall strategic direction of Wild Goose including new product development. He will also oversee the day-to-day activities at the company including sales, engineering, operations, accounting, and marketing.
"Dan's deep knowledge of Wild Goose innovation and industry trends has been key in building trust within customer relationships," said Middleby Beverage President Korey Kohl. "Dan is an asset not only to Wild Goose but to all brands in Middleby Beverage. Prior to joining Wild Goose in 2018, Dan worked in the pharma and microelectronic industries for more than 20 years. His experience includes running a scientific distribution company in Puerto Rico, leading high-performance sales teams, and managing a category management team with a $1.2B portfolio. He holds a master's degree from the University of Colorado. In his free time Dan enjoys playing bluegrass music, spending time in the Colorado mountains, and being with his family.
