Marlowe Parker has been promoted to President of Deutsche Beverage Technologies based in Charlotte, N.C. The company, part of the Middleby Beverage Group, designs and manufactures brewery and other sanitary process equipment.
As Deutsche president, Marlowe will take an expanded leadership role within Middleby Beverage, and greater responsibility for its overall strategic direction. Within Deutsche she will continue to be responsible for the brand strategy and new product development while overseeing the day-to-day activities at the company including sales, engineering, operations, accounting, and marketing.
"Marlowe is highly respected by customers, employees and partners. She has proven her strong leadership skills, led successful product launches and grown the Deutsche customer base. Her knowledge of the company product, process and industry trends has greatly contributed to the rapid growth and positive reputation of the brand," said Korey Kohl, President of Middleby Beverage. "Since joining Deutsche, Marlowe has been an asset in every area of the business, from finance to sales to new product development. She has earned the trust of those around her and is always working to deepen these relationships."
Marlowe joined Deutsche in 2017 as controller, was promoted to CFO, and was named General Manager in January 2021. Prior to that, she was international controller with Precision Drive Systems. Her first controllership was with Steag Energy Services. Before working in private accountancy, she was with GreerWalker, LLP in Charlotte as a business advisor to clients in the manufacturing, service, and construction industry.
Marlowe earned a B.S. degree in business management with a concentration in finance from North Carolina State University, where she was valedictorian in a class of 8,000 students. She received her Master of Accounting from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She is a Certified Public Accountant. She enjoys spending free time with her family, traveling, and visiting breweries.
