(Alliance News) - Mission Group PLC on Thursday said its agency Mongoose bought sports marketing agency Influence Sports & Media for GBP1.5 million, which it expects to be immediately earnings enhancing.

Mission, a Devon-based creative and marketing technology agency, said Mongoose bought the London-based company to improve its social media and marketing capabilities in the sports and entertainment markets.

Influence Sports & Media reported a pretax profit of GBP300,000 in its financial year 2021 to October 31, Mission said.

Mission shares were 0.5% lower at 46.75 pence each in London on Thursday afternoon.
