The award aims to boost Saudization rates and encourage young nationals to work in the private sector

Riyadh, December 27 2021: Bahri, a global leader in logistics and transportation, consolidated its industry-leading position by winning the prestigious 'Labor Award' for Saudization in the Logistics and Transportation Sector, from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD). The award aims to encourage the private sector to adopt work systems that attract national competencies, contribute to increasing the Saudization rates, and enhance compliance with the ideal work environment standards, thereby attracting Saudi youth to work in private sector organizations.

The award was presented to Bahri at a recent ceremony held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh. It reflects the company's continuous high performance, its commitment to raising Saudization rates, and its high level of flexibility and adaptability in terms of complying with the ideal work environment standards. It retains Bahri's leading position as a Saudi company keen to create business opportunities and models that attract innovators and contribute to enhancing the work environment in the Kingdom, thus strengthening its reputation as a global leader in the maritime industry.

Commenting on the achievement, Eng. Abdullah Ali Aldubaikhi, the CEO of Bahri, expressed his delight in receiving the prestigious recognition. He said that the award plays a pivotal role in promoting high Saudization rates within the private sector by motivating companies to adhere to high business standards, enhance their competitiveness, and increase their contribution to supporting local content. "This award serves as a catalyst in enhancing organizations' capabilities and enhancing business growth. Aldubaikhi revealed that the Saudization rate at Bahri increased to around 80% in 2021, highlighting the keenness of Saudi men and women to join the company's attractive work environment and benefit from the training and continuous development opportunities it offers. This, in turn, strengthens Bahri's role in raising the Saudization rates, especially in the logistics and transportation sector.
