Heads of PLCs lead support for PSE STAR: Investor Day

The mid-year edition of PSE STAR (Strengthening Access and Reach): Investor Day will be top billed by corporate and finance leaders of 15 publicly listed companies (PLCs). They will lead their respective company's presentations on their second quarter and first half 2022 financial performance, recent projects and future plans before an audience of equity analysts, fund managers and institutional and retail investors. The virtual event is scheduled on August 16 to 18, from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

"This event highlights the importance of investor relations and the need to communicate with the investing community. Participating in the PSE STAR: Investor Day program affords the non-index PLCs a good opportunity to tell their story to the investing public," said PSE President and CEO Ramon S. Monzon.

The event is co-hosted by Bloomberg L.P. with the Fund Managers Association of the Philippines (FMAP) and Trust Officers Association of the Philippines (TOAP) as event partners.

Day 1 will commence with a message from PSE President and CEO Ramon S. Monzon. Executives who will address the Investor Day audience include Union Bank of the Philippines Senior Executive Vice President, Treasurer and Global Market and Corporate Planning Services Head JoseEmmanuel U. Hilado, DoubleDragon Corporation Chief Investments Officer Hannah Yulo-Luccini, Cebu Air, Inc. Director for Investor Relations Trina E. Asuncion, Philex Mining Corporation President and Chief Executive Officer Eulalio B. Austin, Jr., Semirara Mining and Power Corporation Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Isidro A. Consunji.

Presentors for Day 2 are Bank of Commerce Chief Finance Officer Antonio S. Laquindanum, D&L Industries, Inc. President & Chief Executive Officer Alvin D. Lao, Shakey's Pizza Asia Ventures, Inc. Day 3 will have in the line-up Manila Water Company, Inc. President & Chief Executive Officer J.V. Emmanuel A. FMAP members will moderate the question and answer segment of each company presentation together with Bloomberg analysts who will also discuss the prospects and outlook of select sectors.

The PSE STAR: Investor Day platform features virtual booths for each participating PLC that attendees may visit. The booths will showcase relevant corporate materials and videos and will allow investors to interact with company representatives who are online during the event proper. Investors may also leave questions or schedule one-on-one meetings though the PLC booths.
