TOYOKOH Inc. announced that it has entered into a capital agreement with Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (TSE:9101), Suzuyo Kensetsu K.K., Yamamoto Kogaku Co., Ltd., and The Shizuoka Bank, Ltd. (TSE:8355) to raise ¥816 million in a round of funding on September 26, 2019. The company will issue common stock in the transaction.
On the same date, the company received ¥522 million in its first tranche close. The company received ¥294 million from Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha (TSE:9101), ¥28 million from Yamamoto Kogaku Co., Ltd.and ¥200 million from The Shizuoka Bank, Ltd. (TSE:8355).
Shizuoka Financial Group, Inc. is one of the leading Japanese banking groups. The activity is essentially organized around 2 areas:
- commercial banking: sale of traditional and specialized banking services to individuals and companies (deposits, loans, management of investment securities, foreign exchange transactions, issue of credit cards, etc.);
