The Star Entertainment Group Limited provided the following update on operating conditions at each of The Star's properties. The Star references the NSW Government's announcement of 14 July 2021 regarding an extension of the lockdown of the Greater Sydney region for at least a further 14 days. Pursuant to the Public Health (COVID-19 Temporary Movement and Gathering Restrictions) Order 2021, operations at The Star Sydney will remain closed until at least 11:59pm on Friday 30 July 2021 (apart from limited hotel and takeaway food. The Star has committed to continue paying staff through this extended lockdown period. Further to The Star's ASX announcement of 7 July 2021, The Star announced that operating restrictions at The Star's Queensland properties will be eased from Friday 16 July 2021. Patronage capacity will be increased to 3 people per 4m2, masks are no longer mandatory, and patrons no longer have to be seated while eating or drinking. The Star remains committed to the health, safety and well-being of its team members and guests.
