Third Warehouse Construction Project Starts in Laem Chabang, Thailand

Sumiso (Laem Chabang) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, "SSLC"), a local subsidiary of The Sumitomo Warehouse Co., Ltd., announced the start of construction of its third warehouse in Laem Chabang.

1. Purpose of Construction
   The Sumitomo Warehouse Co., Ltd., through its local subsidiaries, provides comprehensive logistics services in Thailand, namely Ayutthaya, Bangkok, Laem Chabang, and Suvarnabhumi Airport to both its domestic and international customers.
   Since its opening of the first warehouse in October 2016 and the second in November 2018, SSLC has expanded its business in Laem Chabang area. The country's largest trading port, Laem Chabang Port, is located in the area, and quite a few industrial parks lie in its vicinity.
   In order to meet increasing demand, SSLC has decided to build its third warehouse in Rojana Industrial Park Laem Chabang, near the first and second ones. As part of its efforts to reduce environmental impact, SSLC plans to install LED lightings and solar power generation system in the warehouse.
   Together with this new warehouse, SSLC's total floor area in Laem Chabang expands to approximately 34,000 square meters. SSLC will continue to satisfy the logistics needs of its customers by operating these facilities integrally and efficiently.
