The Travelers Companies, Inc. Reports Earnings Results for the Third Quarter and Nine Months Ended September 30, 2022

The Travelers Companies, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2022. For the third quarter, the company reported revenue was USD 9,303 million compared to USD 8,805 million a year ago. Net income was USD 454 million compared to USD 662 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.91 compared to USD 2.65 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.89 compared to USD 2.62 a year ago.
For the nine months, revenue was USD 27,248 million compared to USD 25,805 million a year ago. Net income was USD 2,023 million compared to USD 2,329 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 8.43 compared to USD 9.24 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 8.34 compared to USD 9.16 a year ago.
