Thule Group AB Publ Reports Earnings Results for the Fourth Quarter Ended December 31, 2020

Thule Group AB publ announced earnings results for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2020. For the fourth quarter, the company announced sales was SEK 1,605 million compared to SEK 1,211 million a year ago. Operating income was SEK 241 million compared to SEK 47 million a year ago. Net income was SEK 164 million compared to SEK 30 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 1.57 compared to SEK 0.29 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 1.56 compared to SEK 0.29 a year ago. For the full year, sales was SEK 7,828 million compared to SEK 7,038 million a year ago. Operating income was SEK 1,591 million compared to SEK 1,195 million a year ago. Net income was SEK 1,166 million compared to SEK 883 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 11.23 compared to SEK 8.56 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was SEK 11.21 compared to SEK 8.55 a year ago.
Thule Group AB is a Sweden-based company engaged in the development and manufacture of sport, outdoor and cargo products. Its offering is divided in two business segments: Outdoor&Bags and Specialty. The Outdoor&Bags segment comprises three product categories: sport and cargo carriers, bags for electronic devices, and other outdoor and bags; as well as several product groups, namely bike and car carriers, water and winter carriers, camera bags, laptop cases, recreational vehicle products, roof racks, and sports and travel bags, among others. The Specialty segment comprises two product categories: work gear and snow chains; and such product groups as pick-up truck tool boxes, and professional and consumer snow chains.
